Hello friends! Another Wednesday means another new Color Throwdown is happening. Amy Rohl is hosting this week and chose brown, green, black and white for our colors...inspired by this throw in the photo. I immediately knew these colors would be perfect to use the camouflage stencil set from Erin Lee Creative for a masculine birthday card. Generally, it takes me a good bit to decide which direction to take, but this time it was a quick and easy decision!
There are 3 stencil sheets so I used Frayed Burlap, Rustic Wilderness and Black Soot distress inks for the different layers. I used an older die - Phrase Play 5 by Papertrey Ink - for the sentiment and embellished with stars from the PTI Patriot die set. I added some moonshine sequins to finish it off.
STAMPS: Vintage Postage Sentiments (Papertrey Ink).
INK: Frayed Burlap, Rustic Wilderness, Black Soot distress (Ranger).
PAPER: Bristol Smooth Surface.
DIES: Patriot, Phrase Play 5, Border Bling: Skinny Star (Papertrey Ink).
OTHER: Moonshine sequins (PTI); Camouflage stencils (Erin Lee Creative).
We'd love to have you play along with us! Happy stamping! ~Wanda
