Welcome back to another day of reveals of the June release at Papertrey Ink! Today, we are showing you Vintage Blooms stamps and dies + Inside Greetings: Friendship stamp set + Feathered Friends 24 dies + Just Sentiments: Friendship.
Remember the Penciled Outlines I mentioned yesterday? Here you can see two of the stamps that add a fun detail to geometric shapes.
I recommend starting with the outline stamp of the flowers and ink them up first. It will make the next several steps much easier to line up! A pop of yellow paired with black and white is one of my fave color combos.
STAMPS: Vintage Blooms, Penciled Outlines, Just Sentiments: Friendship

PAPER: Bitty Big: True Black, White

Next on board is another card using the Vintage Blooms.
I color blended four distress inks on the base panel (see supply list below). I then stenciled the script using white pigment ink. I like that's it's very subtle.
It's helpful to adhere two of the diagonal skinny frames together to make it more sturdy and easier to adhere to the card.
STAMPS: Vintage Blooms, Inside Greetings: Friendship
INK: Wild Honey, Ripe Persimmon, Fired Brick, Dusty Concord (distress inks used for background); True Black, Limeade Ice, Simply Chartreuse, Fresh Snow
PAPER: Bristol Smooth Surface, White
DIES: Vintage Blooms, Skinny Frames: Diagonal Border, Delicate Doilies
Next is a fun little corner bookmark that is perfect to use the sweet scroll die that is part of the Vintage Blooms set!
I started with a 5" square of patterned paper and scored it in half, turned it and scored another half so that it had four sections. I then cut out one of the four scored squares then on the opposite corner, I cut off half of the square. After folding it together, I cut a plain white square to insert into the folded corner and stamped the sentiment from Graceful Butterflies. I thought this fit so well with the idea of escaping into a good book to go beyond the ordinary!
Some stenciled dots and splatters add interest to the background.
Love that bookmark! Thanks for the instructions too!
