It's time again for a new Fusion Card Challenge and I went with both the sketch (flipping it to a vertical position) and the inspiration photo. I started with some patterned paper from an old 7 Gypsies 6x6" pad called "Nottinghill". I had a pumpkin spice latte creation in mind and pulled stamps from three different Papertrey Ink sets to get it done.
I used two different images from the Winter Swirls stamp set. I found it easier to die cut them first then stamped with a MISTI using Dark Chocolate ink. For the mug, I color blended Speckled Egg distress ink onto Vintage Cream card stock then stamped the splatters with Tropical Teal. The sentiment was done with Dark Chocolate ink.
STAMPS: Hello Pumpkin, Just Sentiments: Happy Fall, Festive Mugs, Winter Swirls (Papertrey Ink).
INK: Dark Chocolate, Simply Chartreuse, Ripe Avocado, Orange Zest, Canyon Clay, Terracotta Tile dye inks by Papertrey Ink; Speckled Egg distress ink by Ranger.
PAPER: Vintage Cream (Papertrey Ink); Nottinghill 6x6" pad by 7Gypsies.
DIES: Hello Pumpkin, Festive Mugs, Winter Swirls (Papertrey Ink).
I had a lot of fun putting this card together for a fall rather than winter version of the mugs and swirls! Hope you will be able to join us in the challenge! Happy stamping! ~Wanda
Lovely depth of colours Wanda, love all the different layers.
ReplyDeletethe patterned paper you used is the perfect backdrop! And I love the spattered cup! This is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWonderful card. Love the swirls from the mug and the entire card actually. I accidentally missed the deadline for the challenge but am sharing a link to my cards anyway:
