Color Throwdown #609

It's time for another Color Throwdown Challenge and Vickie is hosting with this great color palette: purple, green and dark blue. I thought I'd play with these new Ravishing Ranunculus stamps released in August at Ink to Paper.

I color blended the base panel with distress oxide inks: Chipped Sapphire, Crushed Olive and Seedless Preserves.  Leaves were stamped with Olive Twist and Prairie Grass dye inks by Ink to Paper; florals were stamped with Lavender Moon, Winter Wisteria, Plum Pudding and Amethyst Allure (also by ITP).

I cut two of the sentiment dies to make it thicker and more dimensional. The frame and the florals are all popped up with foam tape.

STAMPS: Ravishing Ranunculus, Framing Fall Sentiments (Ink to Paper).

PAPER: Rustic Cream (Ink to Paper).

INK: See description above.

DIES: Framing Fall Sentiments, Ravishing Ranunculus, Border Bling: Tin Stitch, Skinny Frames: Diagonal Border, Border Bling: Grateful Vine - all by Ink to Paper; Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-Namics by My Favorite Things.

We hope to see your take on these rich fall colors! See you in the gallery!                              Happy stamping!      ~Wanda
