Here we are again with a great new set of colors for the Color Throwdown Challenge - orange, burgundy, green and pink! Thanks to Amy Rysavy who is hosting this week. Of course, I was led to using flowers again - surprise, surprise! It's all the inspiration photo's fault - lol!
I used multiple stamp sets and dies from Ink to Paper/Papertrey Ink and added the neutral gray.
I wanted to define the edges of the plaid panel so added two very narrow strips of gray paper to the sides. Well, it didn't show up well, so plan B was to take a black gel pen and draw lines on the edges of the strips. Awww...much better. The sentiment was gold embossed on vellum.
STAMPS: Flourishing Florals, Floral Delicacies, Dear Friend (sentiment), Nifty Plaid - all by Ink to Paper.
INK: Orange Zest, Canyon Clay, Lovely Lady, Autumn Rose, Scarlet Jewel, Berry Sorbet, Sweet Blush, Pale Peony, Hibiscus Burst, Olive Twist, Prairie Grass, Ripe Avocado, Simply Chartreuse, Green Parakeet, New Leaf, True Black, Weathervane - dye inks by Ink to Paper; Versamark.
PAPER: Weathervane, White (Ink to Paper).
DIES: Love to Layer: Scalloped Circles, Flourishing Florals, Floral Delicacies (Ink to Paper).
We'd love to have you join us. Hope to see you in the gallery!
