In the paper crafting world, we all know today is World Cardmaking Day and the best part - besides actually crafting - is the wide number of sales happening today! :-) I was pretty good and only ordered 3 small items (Pixie Spray, long MISTI magnet and a 6x6" patterned paper pad). I won't list my LONG order from the Christmas release at The Greetery yesterday! LOL!
You've seen me use these patterned papers from Authentique's Poised bundle in previous projects. I just love this mustard and black plaid! Here is my take on the current CAS(E) This Sketch challenge...
I had the flowers and leaves in my leftover pile, so all I did was stamp a new sentiment and cut a couple of black banner flags and a teeny scallop border and I was ready to assemble.
STAMPS: Fleur Impressions and Sentiment Suite: Birthday by The Greetery.
PAPER: True Black, White by Papertrey Ink; Poised 6x6" pad by Authentique.
INK: So Saffron, More Mustard by SU; Memento Tuxedo Black.
DIES: Leafy dies by Verve; Fleur Impressions and Sentiment Suite Basics by The Greetery; Edge Impression and Stitched Flag Trio by Reverse Confetti.
Heading out to the grocery store, so that's it for now. ~Wanda
Love this, Wanda! Your flowers are gorgeous in gold and black and the white die cut leaves are perfect.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what your new Greetery stamps will be. I bet I got them too, lol!
I just bought Pixie spray too. Haven't tried it out ye.
Wild sketch and you tamed it beautifully! Gorgeous fall card!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful card! I love the color palette and that lovely plaid! I've also had Pixie Spray on my wish list but it always seems to be out of stock!
