It's Stampafaire 2017 at Papertrey Ink with loads of videos and samples by the design team and challenges and fun for customers with a chance to win prizes! Their first challenge of the day is the Take Ten Warm Up Challenge. We were to select one of 10 inspiration photos/color schemes and create a card. My pick was the photo on the left. Absolutely LOVE this color combo! Here's my take on it...
I used PTI's Harvest Gold, Tropical Teal and White cardstock. Since I don't have any of their inks, I chose similar SU colors to use: Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay and Cajun Craze. I wanted a lot of depth to the sentiment, so cut 3 dies and adhered them together. A little jute twine and yellow sequins were the finishing touches!
STAMPS: Rosy Posy and Rosy Posy Step 2 (PTI).
DIES: Just For You (PTI) and Noted: Scalloped A2 Vertical die (PTI).

ReplyDeleteYour card is gorgeous! I have that stamp set and you've inspired me to use it again. For some reason every time I pick it up, I always want to use pink and magenta. =/ Now i know it looks beautiful in other colors too! :)
