It's Wednesday, so that means there's a new Color Throwdown Challenge happening! Jodi is our hostess and has this beautiful color palette - mustard, blue and black - for us... inspired by this great scarf! Here is my take on it...
I was in a smooshing mood and created the background using two distress inks: Mustard Seed and Mermaid Lagoon. Even though I dried the colors between steps, they still blended into green in certain areas. :-( I used a Tim Holtz bubble stencil to add some white modeling paste which doesn't show up much in my photo. I combined Concord and 9th's bouquet die with the Simon Says Stamp "Sending and Wishing" stamp set with matching die. The stitched rectangle strip is a die by Lil' Inker Designs.
