Hello again! Wow, another month on the calendar and you know what? In four months, Christmas will be over! :-/ Enough of that depressing news and on to our FABULOUS color combo by Jodi for the new Color Throwdown Challenge! I just love these clean, crisp colors!
Unfortunately, I learned Monday that another of my aunts in Ohio passed away, so a sympathy card was needed. I like to keep the design simple for sympathy creations and already had this floral design embossed in white, so it was a quick one to watercolor using distress inks.
I had to sneak in a bit of "neutral" green - lol - as I can't have posies without some green leaves. Then it was time to fussy cut and adhere with tiny pieces of foam tape. Here's what else I used:
STAMPS: You've Got This (SU) - flower; Petals 'n Posies (Reverse Confetti) - sentiment; Arrows and Elements (Reverse Confetti) - small banner flag.
PAPER: Night of Navy, White, Tim Holtz water color CS.
INK: Versamark, Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Shabby Shutters, Peeled Paint.
ACCESSORIES: Chevron Confetti Cuts by Reverse Confetti; Stitched rectangle die by Lil' Inker Designs; Avery Elle sequins; White embossing powder.
I want to give a big welcome to our talented guest designer this month: Kelly Latevola of You and Your Big Dreams! You don't want to miss her gorgeous sample for these colors!!!
