Gerbera Daisies

With a couple of extra days off work, I was able to fit in a card for the Power and Spark challenge over on the Power Poppy blog.  I printed the Gerbera Daisies digi image and sentiment on X-Press It Blending Card then colored with Copics.  Cindy's challenge theme was to create a shabby chic card.  Not sure how chic this one is but the distressing, sponging, splatters, twine and wood background fit the shabby part of it! I did add some subtle sparkle by using a clear Wink of Stella brush marker over the centers of the flowers! :-)

Designer papers are from the 6x6 Vintage Bliss pad by Simple Stories.  I used stitched circle and square dies by Lil' Inker Designs and the flags are Die-Namics by My Favorite Things.  The card size is 5 1/2" square which is larger than normal for me, so will need to scale the image down a bit next time.  Thanks so much for stopping by...

  6. Wanda this is country sweet! The fenced backing is perfect with these blooms. I like the staples added to the fish tags, so fun. Thanks for playing in our Chic and Shabby challenge this month.
