Can't believe another week has rolled on by and we're ready for another Mojo Monday Challenge! I rarely create masculine cards and when I donate baskets of cards to charities, I realize I'm often leaving the men out of the loop! So, I decided to remedy that with this week's awesome sketch!
I love the fun summertime patterned papers in the "Sunkissed" 6x6 pad by Doodlebug Designs. I used stitched dies by Lil' Inker Designs for the circles and rectangles. Cording is from Stampin' Up. The stamp set I featured is called Strong Anchor by Verve. I used two retired SU inks - Blue Bayou and Baja Breeze - which I thought blended in well with the color of the waves, then stamped the sentiment with Pumpkin Pie ink.

So wonderful...I'm such a fan of nautical!
ReplyDeleteAdorable card! I love the color combo and the cute little nautical theme with all the details.
ReplyDeleteOkay, this is just fabulous, Wanda! That loopy rope just makes me happy and the rope frame and border are the perfect accent for that paper.
ReplyDeleteLove those bg papers, Wanda!!!! The colors are so fun!!!! The piece of twine looks great!!! A lovely masculine card, Wanda - I think a lot of us find masculine cards most of the time hard to make, but you have really done a great job with this one!!!! Love your card!!!
