Are you ready to see some fabulous new papers, stamps and dies for your Christmas papercrafting possibilities? Grab a cup of coffee and hop along to see all the new Christmas goodies being released today at Our Daily Bread Designs! In my first card, I'm featuring a sentiment from the stamp set - His Birth - along with the coordinating Sparkling Stars dies and papers from the Christmas Paper Collection 2014.
The graduated star dies make it possible to create cards/projects for MANY different occasions...not just Christmas. I found that SU's retired Taken With Teal cardstock matched well with this new Christmas Collection 2014 designer paper by ODBD. I created a shaker card using foam tape to pop the panel. Since I forgot to emboss the panel before adding the foam tape, I decided to add some punched snowflakes for an element of texture.
For my second card, I wanted to showcase the 3 different star stamps by creating my own "designer paper" background. I used Rose Red, Coastal Cabana and Crumb Cake inks. The silver star was stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with silver EP. I embellished with the tiny star dies cut from silver glitter cardstock. Other dies used were the Peaceful Poinsettia and Pennant dies - both by ODBD.
You'll want to be sure and see the rest of the new release by going to the Our Daily Bread Designs blog OR you can go to the links below and check out what the other designers have created. We are also happy to welcome Graciellie as a guest designer for this release!
