It's the first of May and that means new stamps, dies and papers are being released at Our Daily Bread Designs! I designed two cards featuring the Glory stamp set and the new Vintage Labels dies were used on the second card.
I colored the floral image with Copics and highlighted the morning glories with a Wink of Stella clear
shimmer brush pen. So fun! Unfortunately, I can't capture the shimmer in my photos. I triple looped some black jute twine behind the sentiment panel and adhered sequins with Glossy Accents. I've discovered a new black hybrid ink that gives a crisp and vivid stamped image and it's also compatible with Copics! It's MFT's Black Licorice and I'm loving it!
So, here is a version of the morning glories in pink. The Vintage Labels die fits perfectly with this sentiment! I fussy cut around the floral image and have it (and the sentiment) popped with foam tape.
You will not want to miss seeing the other gorgeous projects from the rest of the design team members! For more details on the full release, you can click on the links below of all the designers or you can go to the ODBD website HERE. There are some great stamps available with an angel theme and sentiments that are wonderful for sympathy cards that you don't want to miss!
PAPERS: 1st Card - Simple Stories Vintage Bliss; 2nd Card - Ooh La La for Her by My Mind's Eye.
