The countdown is on! Just returned from a really wonderful visit with extended family in Ohio over Thanksgiving, and now it's only a short spurt of time until Christmas is here! I missed my stamping "girl cave" while gone this past week, so had to get inky and play along with the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - a Christmas countdown theme - and also Freshly Made Sketches. I knew the papers from Carta Bella's "So This is Christmas" pad would be perfect for the theme. It also gave me a good reason to use this tiny clothespin embellishment by Recollections.
STAMPS: Tinsel 'N Trim by Reverse Confetti
PAPER: White (PTI), So This is Christmas (6x6 pad by Carta Bella)
INK: Cranberry Crisp, Wild Wasabi and Garden Green (SU)
ACCESSORIES: Jute twine, Burlap ribbon (SU), Tag die set by Reverse Confette, Clothespin, Circle Nestie.
Did you know???
"Gift giving was first practiced by the Romans, who customarily exchanged small gifts during the winter months. The Christmas gift giving we know probably began when early Christians, inspired by the belief that the shepherds and Magi took gifts to the Christ Child, began to observe the custom".
- from "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" by Hugh Martin and Ralph Blane
