Blog Candy Give Away!

I'm long overdue with some blog candy, so I decided since May is my favorite month of the year, I'd like to give some goodies away just because! Just because I consider all my blog readers to be special! No big requirements needed.  Just leave me a comment in this post and tell me about a time when you did a little (or big) random act of kindness!  That's all!

So...what am I giving away?
Ever do a dumb thing like overlook an online shopping cart number that says you want 2 instead of ONE item?  Yep.  That was me with a recent Papertrey Ink order.  I got 2 larger than life poppy prints, so that means one of you lucky readers will benefit from my mistake!  I'm also giving away THREE paper pads and a Sizzix Floral Botanical set of dies.  I'll do a random draw next Friday, May 24, so spread the word!  Good luck!

  1. I was shopping Mother's Day spending some of my gift money and the girl helping me was looking tired and was having problems getting the computer to work and I felt bad she was working Mother's Day. I had 2 $10 gift cards for a local restarant and I gave her one. In the meantime another lady came to help and I gave her the other one. I felt better giving to those ladies than I would using them myself.

  2. Oh my goodness, thank you so much for your generosity. Yesterday at the grocery store I helped an elderly man take his cart back. He looked tired and he was quite grateful.

  3. How exciting to hear the words "blog candy"! Thank you so much for being generous. I have a friend who had eye surgery last week and had to stay face down for a week. When I stopped by the house, I found out he needed a ride to the doctor. I cancelled my appointments and took him then. So thankful that I was in the right place to offer help!

  7. You are very kind by giving a blog candy, those are always nice!:) I returned a watch today and the lady gave me more money than what I paid. I felt bad she would be short at the end of the day so I told her. I guess that's honesty, not kind.

  8. Thank you for a chance at blog candy. . .so very kind of you. I helped a "table full of people" at a restaurant. They were in town for medical issues from Canada and wanted to know what they can do for a week, where to eat, the location of places, etc., so I shared different ideas with them.

  11. Oh my god that's so generous of you! Thank you for the chance. :)

I remember the last random act of kindness I did was carrying the groceries for an elderly lady down the street. She invited me for tea, how sweet was that!

  12. I took my dog to get groomed and I noticed that the groomer had her two little kids playing in the office area. She told me that her sitter was sick, so she had to bring the kids with her. I ran to McDonalds and got the kids a happy meal, of course with apple slices and juice. I also got the mom a lunch. Oh, the kids were thrilled and that made the mom happy because she didn't pack a lunch for any of them.
Thanks for sharing all your goodies and making us take a look at our daily lives. Have a great day.

  13. Thanks dear for the chance :). The latest act which I did was to teach card making and quilling class to my maid's 3 kids. I provided material free of cost too. she was so happy I could see that in her eyes... since then she works nicely at home.
