Happy new year to all of you Color Throwdown Challenge fans! We're back with more fabulous colors lined up and starting it all off in 2013 is the super sweet Joan who has this great inspiration photo for us! Don't you just LOVE this bird cage filled with those fabulous flowers?!
I should have warned you to get your shades for this card - lol. I wanted to use my Dylusions ink spray for a reverse kind of stencil technique. Remember those old brass stencils in your stash? I have several of them which rarely see the light of day anymore. I sprayed the Fresh Lime ink on the stencil then turned it over and "stamped" it on Vintage Cream CS. I then tore an edge around the design and popped it with foam dots to the card. A Kiwi Kiss corduroy button tops off the jute twine bow. Very simple design!
For more great inspiration from the rest of the design team, head on over to the Color Throwdown blog and check it out! We have Miriam Napier back with us as the January guest designer, so check out her creative talents as well!
