Color Throwdown 204

It's time for another Color Throwdown challenge and this week Broni has brought us this lovely photo for inspiration! Check out this gorgeous tank top...
I had to dig deep into my gray matter to come up with my card as these colors had me stumped for awhile! I guess that's why they call it a challenge - lol!

Awesome tip alert!!  The doily is a die cut by Cheery Lynn Designs and thanks to the tips of several blog readers, I bought a metal shim from PTI that is the secret to getting a good die cut from the more intricate, detailed dies!  Sure glad that problem is solved. :-)

Here's hoping you can find some time to play along with us.  Remember to use the keyword CTD204 if you upload to a public gallery.  If you don't have exact colors...no worries!  Just use a color that's close and you'll be fine.  For more inspiration, you'll want to check out the other designers' blogs:

  6. SUCH a beautiful card, Wanda! I love the butterfly and the big grey doily....thanks for the tip, too, about the shim. I've thought about buying a doily die, but held off because people warned me about how I'd have to poke out the little holes on my own. I'll have to check out the PTI site.
