Direct to Paper Technique
Lydia has a wonderful tutorial on SCS describing the direct to paper technique! I loved the beachy, weathered board BG she illustrated and was happy with my first attempt! I scored white CS at 1" intervals then swiped Soft Suede ink lengthwise on the panel. I then took a white Colorbox pigment ink pad and smeared it lightly over the panel. I finished it off with a hint of Oasis Green VersaMagic chalk ink. The DP is from DCWV's Linen Closet matstack. The image was stamped in Soft Suede and lightly colored with Copics (E43, YG61, YG63). What else did I use?
