I was so excited to have THE Betty Wright ask me to host ODBD Stamping in Time Challenge! I came up with a theme that includes a twist: "It's a Distress Call!" You use any distressing techniques such as tearing, sponging, sanding, crumpling, etc., but the twist is to actually mail your card to encourage someone who has some real life distress going on and could use a little encouragement. I love this lily of the valley image from the Easter Blessings set! It takes me back to my childhood when my mother had tons of these tiny, but so very fragrant, flowers in her flower bed. I colored it with Copics (YG00, YG03, YG06, V0000, C00), cut it out and attached it to the distressed panel. I crumpled the CS, added Blue Bayou ink to the wrinkles, distressed the edges and sponged them with the same ink. I look forward to seeing what you create using ODBD stamps!
