Speedy the Cat

Just couldn't resist playing along with the tea party gang on Mothermark's blog - check out the story HERE. This card is to help celebrate the fact that a prominent SCS member, Faith Hofrichter, has reached the 100,000 comment level! Wow...that's a ton of commenting! Any regular at Splitcoast is familiar with Speedy the Cat...seems Faith needs a rest from needy Speedy, so she's sending him off to Ms. Kittie's for a break. I wasn't sure that Speedy could make it by jumping over all those gators, so I went for Plan B and decided it might be better to send him by snail male instead. So you can see I have him packaged in a starry box, since Faith is the star for the moment and he's ready to go with Sam the Snail! The sketch is another take on Roxie's sketch (see my post below). Those stars have Crystal Effects & glitter on them, but this cloudy morning just didn't capture the sparkle and shine very well on the pic. Have a great day and don't forget when you're getting dressed, to put on your smile!
