Spring Birthday

I have lots of family & friends' who have birthdays in the spring, so decided to use some gorgeous new DP by Memory Box that just arrived at my doorstep today. I was inspired by colors from some fabric on the Warm Biscuit website that Stef challenged us to check out on Splitcoast. I combined her challenge with Our Daily Bread Design's 1st of 5 days of challenges to celebrate their 2nd anniversary. We were to use cotton on our card, so I included a crocheted flower made with cotton thread along with some cotton lace trim. The cake is a new Verve image that I paper pieced and added liquid pearls. Candles were colored with Copics. The leaves were punched using the 2-step bird punch from SU. Enjoy your weekend...I'm looking forward to being off work and doing some special things as well.
STAMPS: Verve 'Big Wish'
PAPER: Memory Box 'Frond' DP, Certainly celery, Pre-embossed card from Michael's
INK: Black
ACCESSORIES: Silver Liquid Pearls, Crocheted flower (mom), Brad, 2-step bird punch (SU), Lace trim, MS Rhinestone stickers
