Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge

I needed a break from all the paper work that happens after a spouse's death, so what better way to relax than to create a card?! I pulled this leftover background of layered stamping paired with Liquitex light modeling paste and a dot stencil. I clear embossed a large echinacea and used an aqua painter brush and some distress inks to color it. I'm entering this into the The Paper Players tic-tac-toe challenge using the vertical row of die cut, stenciling and layers.

STAMPS: Patient Echinacea, Spring Collage Tag (Creative Worship Stamps); French Market (Tim Holtz Visual Artistry Collection by Stampers Anonymous).
INK: Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber, Shabby Shutters, Peeled Paint, Peacock Feathers distress inks; Versafine Clair Nocturne (pigment ink).
PAPER: Watercolor paper; True Black, Stampers Select White (Papertrey Ink).
DIES: Tag & More, Patient Echinacea
OTHER: Dotted stencil; Liquitex light modeling paste; Brads.

I'm also so sorry to hear of your husband's passing. Take care in this difficult time. xx
