This week it's color week - yellow, gray, black - for the Paper Players challenge. I created a collage background then added the tulip focal point. The sentiment tends to get lost in the background, so next time I might try something different...maybe white embossing on a yellow background? I clear embossed the tulip and colored with Copics.
STAMPS: Script Sentiments, Texture Textiles, Vintage Snippets, Blooming Tulip (Creative Worship Stamps).
INK: Versafine Clair Nocturne; Lost Shadow, Black Soot distress.
PAPER: Stamper's Select White (PTI); Bristol Smooth Surface.
DIES: Script Sentiments, Blooming Tulip (Creative Worship Stamps); Blueprints 27 (My Favorite Things).
OTHER: Diamond Mesh stencil (CWS); Clear embossing powder, Copics.
Thanks so much for stopping by! ~Wanda

Wanda, this is fabulous! I love that collage background with the glorious tulip across it. The stencil is a great addition. Thank you for sharing this with us at The Paper Players
ReplyDeleteOoh, I like the diamond lattice, such a pretty detail behind your fabulous tulip! Thanks for playing along with us at The Paper Players!
ReplyDeleteI actually like the background you created! Makes me think of some Tim Holtz stamps that I have that I don't often use--maybe I could use them like this! That big yellow flowers look great on top of it! Just lovely! Thanks for playing with our challenge at the Paper Players this week!
