I'm playing along with the current Seize the Birthday challenge to use anything with wings and also with the Just Add Ink challenge to use stencils or dies or both. I was trying to go with colors that would work for a masculine design if needed.
INK: Versafine Clair Nocturne; Scattered Straw, Antique Linen, Hickory Smoke, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers distress oxide inks.
PAPER: Bristol Smooth Surface; Stamper's Select White, Hawaiian Shores (Papertrey Ink); Sour Apple (My Favorite Things).
DIES: Sentiment Suite Basics, Jumbo Curiosity: Moth die, Crimped Frames (The Greetery); Love to Layer: Scalloped Ovals (PTI); Stitched Polka Dot Card Front (Concord & 9th); Large Mariana Vine Background & Small Mariana Vine Outline (Poppy Stamps).
OTHER: Tartan Builder Diagonal stencil, Jumbo Curiosity: Moth stencils (The Greetery); Permanent White Gouache.

ReplyDeleteGreat colors and layers on your pretty card Wanda. Thanks for sharing with us at Seize the Birthday.
ReplyDeleteYou have combined a lot of crafty supplies to make this lovely card. The star is that huge moth that was required to use the toppings for our challenge at Seize the Birthday. So glad to see you here.

I really like how this turned out but my favorite part is the great background. Love the colors too. There is something about lime green that I just adore. This is a wonderful birthday card, Wanda. Thanks for joining us at Seize the birthday.
