Watercolor Mum

This was a quick and easy design inspired by the current muse over on the CASE Study Challenge blog. Check out Joni's beautiful creation on the right. I'm also playing along with the Simon Says Stamp challenge that has a Mother's Day/Special Girl theme. This also fits for SCS Ways to Use It challenge with the theme of rainbows.

I scribbled 6 different colors of water soluble wax pastels over watercolor paper then spritzed with water.  Love the rainbow effect it created!  The sentiment banner was fussy cut and popped with foam tape.

STAMPS: Take it to Heart (SU), Loving Thoughts (SU)
PAPER: Tempting Turquoise, White, Watercolor paper
INK: Tempting Turquoise, Versafine Onyx Black
ACCESSORIES: Chrysanthemum die by Hero Arts, 5 1/2" square textured card base, Reeves water soluble wax pastels.
