This card came about as a result of 3 different challenges:
Ways To Use It - Return of the banner
CASE Study - featuring Joy Taylor, the talented muse for June. Check out her inspiration card to the right. I kept the same layout and used the layered medallion and banner elements.
Flourishes "Bring Back Beautiful" - beauty of a rainbow (use at least 3 different hues of colors).
I colored this sweet summertime image with Copics, and because summer picnics conjure up thoughts of gingham and quilts in my mind, I was quick to choose this paper and ribbon! I used the large banner die by 'Lil Inker Designs but didn't want it covering so much of the DP, so trimmed each side by 1/4" and straight stitched around the edges. The medallion was made using Tim Holtz' medallion die on Real Red CS. DP is from the "Handmade" pad by Lily Bee Design.
STAMPS: On the Porch by Flourishes.
COPICS: Y11, Y13, Y15, Y17, BG0000, BG0000, C0, C1
